Fullington Hurricane Relief Effort: How You Can Help
The southeastern Atlantic states are reeling from the aftermath of Hurricanes Helene and Milton. These natural disasters have displaced thousands of individuals and shattered their homes and communities. Recognizing the situation’s urgency, Fullington has initiated a relief campaign to aid the affected communities.
Rallying Support with Motorcoach Deliveries
At Fullington, we are leveraging our industry resources to collect and deliver essential supplies to those most in need. We aim to fill one or more motorcoaches with vital items, from food and water to hygiene supplies, and drive them directly to the affected areas.
How You Can Get Involved
- Donate Supplies: We are accepting donations at all Fullington locations. Items will be consolidated at our State College location, where volunteers will organize and load them onto the coaches for delivery.
- Monetary Contributions: If you cannot donate items, consider a financial donation. These funds will go directly toward purchasing additional supplies for the relief effort. Donations can also be made to the American Red Cross for broader hurricane relief support.
- Volunteer: We need drivers to help transport the loaded motor coaches to the disaster zones. Your time and skills can make a significant difference in getting help to where it’s most urgently needed.
Additional Ways to Contribute
- Donate to the American Red Cross: You can donate directly to the American Red Cross through their website or by texting HELENE to 90999. This will provide immediate financial support to hurricane relief efforts.
- Volunteer for Disaster Response: If you’re looking for hands-on ways to contribute, consider joining organizations like Rise Team, which coordinates disaster response and recovery efforts.
Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by these devastating hurricanes. For more information on how to help, visit the American Red Cross or Rise Team, or call Fullington at 814 355-4900 ext. 313 or 209.
Let’s unite as a community to bring hope and assistance to those who need it most.
