The American Bus Association Foundation (ABAF) sparkles when others shine. For decades, it has illuminated the path forward for the motorcoach, travel, and tour industry—funding research, awarding scholarships, and empowering future leaders who keep our industry moving. Every initiative is designed to help others sparkle and shine through opportunity.
Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded more than $1 million in scholarships to hundreds of deserving students pursuing careers in transportation, travel, and tourism. What began in 1997 with just four $2,500 scholarships has grown into a brilliant legacy—this past cycle, 20 shining recipients each received up to $5,000 to continue their education and make their mark. These scholars are the bright reflections of our industry’s heart and purpose.
Where does this light come from? From you—the donors, sponsors, and members who make every dollar count. The ABA Foundation’s scholarship fund is powered entirely by generosity through the Silent Auction and Purses & Accessories Raffle held each year at Marketplace. Every contribution—big or small—adds another sparkle to the cause.
As we look toward the 100th anniversary of the American Bus Association in 2026, the Foundation’s goal shines even brighter:
