ABA Supports Bipartisan Work on Infrastructure Bill
Washington, DC – In a letter to President Joe Biden, the American Bus Association (ABA) – the industry leader advancing North American motorcoach travel and tourism – threw its support to the bipartisan efforts underway to reach an infrastructure deal. We believe any path forward to move much needed legislation requires bipartisan efforts, and we applaud the progress the bipartisan group of Senators is making toward this goal.

Our nation’s private motorcoaches need safe roads and bridges to travel on as we carry the most precious cargo across America by the safest, most equitable, affordable, greenest mode of transportation available.”

As part of the group travel industry, motorcoach travel has a $15 billion impact on the nation’s economy and supports 100,000 jobs. While the motorcoach industry has been devastated as a result of COVID-19, a robust infrastructure plan that restores confidence to the traveling public, reduces congestion and enhances safety, is essential to our long-term recovery.
