ABA Congratulates the CTIS Class of 2020

ABA celebrated the association’s Certified Travel Industry Specialist (CTIS) program and its graduates during its 2020 Marketplace in Omaha, Neb.

More than 30 years ago, ABA recognized a need within the Travel and Tour industry and teamed up with Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) to provide its members with a correspondence course that helped introduce them to new concepts in the industry and expand their professional and personal skills.

Since its inception, nearly 850 members have successful completed the program.

“ABA is proud of our industry colleagues who see the value in continuing their professional education.” said ABA President & CEO Peter Pantuso, CTIS. “Our program is a first-class certification program thanks to our partnership with Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. I look forward to seeing many more members graduate in the coming years.”
