Motorcoach Companies Helping Communities Devastated by Hurricane Helene

Hurricane Helene has left widespread destruction, impacting thousands of families and communities along the Atlantic Coast. Now, more than ever, our efforts can make a difference. Several motorcoach companies are stepping up to provide essential support, supplies, and aid to help these communities recover. Join us in this relief effort by donating or volunteering.

How You Can Help

You can get involved in the following ways:

  • Monetary Donations: Financial contributions go directly toward providing essentials like food, water, and shelter for those affected. You can donate directly to local relief organizations.
  • Supply Donations: Essential items like bottled water, canned goods, hygiene products, blankets, and first aid supplies are urgently needed. Find local drop-off points where you can bring these much-needed supplies.
  • Volunteer: Consider volunteering your time to help distribute supplies or assist with rebuilding efforts. Local organizations and motorcoach companies are organizing efforts to transport volunteers and supplies to the affected areas.

ABA Cares: Information on Helping Those Affected by Nashville Tornado

Share

As you know, the Nashville area was hit with tragedy earlier this week when a devastating tornado hit parts of the city and surrounding areas. Thankfully, the city's entertainment district was untouched. With minor exceptions, the city's hotels, restaurants, meeting spaces, attractions and venues are open.

Shows went on Tuesday night at the Grand Ole Opry, Ryman Auditorium, Lower Broadway honky tonks and other live music venues. Current conventions are ongoing at Music City Center. There was never a disruption at Nashville International Airport. All major attractions are open, except for the Tennessee State Museum because of road closures in North The SEC Men's Basketball Tournament has announced it will go on as planned starting March 11. While we are grateful that even with all the devastation, the music keeps playing in Music City, our friends and colleagues were affected personally.

The Nashville CVB continues to raise funds through Music City Inc., and those funds will be immediately distributed directly to families significantly impacted, with a priority on those employed in the hospitality industry.

If you would like to help, you can make a donation to Music City Inc., the 501c(3) charitable foundation of the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. online, Venmo: VisitMusicCity, Paypal: donate@visitmusiccity.com (recipient name) or by Check: payable to Music City Inc. Foundation; send to One Nashville Place, 150 Fourth Avenue North, Suite G-250, Nashville, TN 37219.

We thank you for your generosity for our friends and colleagues who are in need.
