Starr Bus Charter & Tours is proud to announce that longtime Tour Director Penny Rudolph has been recognized as a 2025 Motorcoach Professional Award nominee by the Greater Northeast Motorcoach Association (GNEMA). She was formally honored at the association’s Spring Meeting held at Resorts World Catskills.

Now entering her 40th year of service with Starr, Rudolph has dedicated nearly four decades to creating exceptional travel experiences for thousands of guests across North America. She was celebrated for her outstanding commitment to customer service, professionalism, and her ability to turn every trip into a memorable journey. Known for her warm personality, attention to detail, and passion for travel, she consistently goes above and beyond to ensure every tour runs smoothly and every guest feels valued.

“Penny represents the very best of what our industry stands for,” said Sandy Borowsky, Owner of Starr Bus Charter & Tours. “For nearly 40 years, she has been the face of Starr to so many of our guests. Her dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for the people she travels with make her incredibly deserving of this recognition.”

Rudolph was joined at the awards luncheon by her husband, Rich Thorpe, a former Starr motorcoach driver, making the occasion especially meaningful as a celebration of both her personal and professional journey within the industry.

The Motorcoach Professional Award recognizes individuals who demonstrate excellence in service, leadership, and dedication within the motorcoach and group travel industry. Rudolph’s nomination reflects her long-standing impact not only on Starr’s passengers but also on the broader travel community.

Starr Bus Charter & Tours congratulates Penny on this well-deserved honor and thanks her for her continued commitment to delivering exceptional travel experiences.
