Peter Pan Bus Lines Announces New Senior Director of Safety and Security, Next-Generation Leadership Promotions
Company names Jacob DuBois, Lauryn Picknelly-DuBois, and Peter B. Picknelly to leadership positions

Peter Pan Bus Lines has announced two leadership updates as the company heads into 2026, including a key safety appointment and promotions that expand fourth-generation family leadership.
Effective February 1, Jacob DuBois has been appointed Senior Director of Safety and Security. DuBois brings a long track record within the organization, most recently serving as Connecticut Division Manager, where he oversaw day-to-day operations with an emphasis on safety, regulatory compliance, and service performance. He previously served as Director of Safety and Security at Peter Pan, leading initiatives to strengthen the company’s safety culture and compliance programs.
In his new position, DuBois will oversee all aspects of Peter Pan’s safety and security operations, working with senior leadership to support organization-wide standards for safety, security, and regulatory compliance.
“Jacob’s deep understanding of our operations, combined with his proven leadership within the safety department, makes him exceptionally well-suited for this role,” said Peter A. Picknelly, Chairman & CEO of Peter Pan Bus Lines. “His commitment to safety and accountability aligns perfectly with Peter Pan’s core values.”

The safety appointment follows a separate announcement released January 23, in which Peter Pan Bus Lines outlined two promotions that broaden the leadership roles held by the Picknelly family as the company approaches its next chapter.
Lauryn Picknelly-DuBois has been promoted to Vice President, Finance, and Peter B. Picknelly has been promoted to Vice President. The company said the promotions reflect the continuation of a multigenerational leadership legacy, marking the addition of fourth-generation family executives in expanded roles.
“Our children represent the next chapter of our family’s stewardship,” said Peter A. Picknelly and Melissa Picknelly. “We take great pride in their commitment to our company’s future success and in their desire to take on expanded leadership roles.”
Founded in 1933 by Peter Carmine Picknelly, Peter Pan Bus Lines began in Springfield as a small transportation company rooted in service and community. Over the decades, the company has grown into one of the nation’s largest family-owned and operated intercity bus companies, providing motorcoach service across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

Company leaders credited its longevity to a consistent focus on long-term stability, innovation, and safety through periods of industry change and economic uncertainty.
“We are confident that Peter Pan remains on solid footing and is well positioned for continued success,” Peter A. Picknelly and Melissa Picknelly added. “It is with tremendous pride and confidence that we look to the future, knowing the company is in very capable hands as the next generation leads us forward.”
