Pennsylvania Bus Companies Unite to Transport Breast Cancer Survivors
Companies provide buses and drivers to take survivors and families to 20th Anniversary Pink Zone Game

In a powerful display of community partnership and compassion, bus companies from across Pennsylvania—led by Fullington Trailways—are donating buses and professional drivers to transport breast cancer survivors and their families to the Pennsylvania Pink Zone Game on February 15, 2026.
Participating companies include Fullington Trailways, Krapf Bus, Klein Transportation, Bailey Coach, Lowees Bus, and Wolf’s Bus. Together, these transportation partners are volunteering their equipment, time, and expertise to ensure survivors and their loved ones can attend this milestone 20th Anniversary Pink Zone Pink Game without worry or cost.
Since its inception 20 years ago, the Pink Zone’s mission has remained steadfast: to unite Central Pennsylvania in the fight against breast cancer by mobilizing resources to improve lives in our community. The organization is dedicated to supporting breast cancer patients and survivors right here in Centre County.
Breast cancer will strike 1 in 8 women in the United States. A diagnosis affects not only the patient, but also their families and friends. For many, the emotional and financial toll can be overwhelming. Yet there is hope. When caught in its earliest, localized stages, the 5-year relative survival rate is 99 percent—an encouraging reminder of the importance of awareness, early detection, and community support.
The Pink Zone’s Direct Support Program has helped hundreds of local individuals fighting breast cancer by covering essential expenses, including mortgages, utilities, transportation, groceries, and other daily needs. One recipient shared:

“Ugh. Life is so hard. That’s why I appreciate people like you and these charitable organizations who help people like me who fall through the cracks. I didn’t plan on getting cancer in my 40s and being all alone with no family. Thank you soooo much and please thank these wonderful people who have helped me more than they could ever know.”
For the transportation companies involved, this initiative goes beyond logistics—it is personal.
“Chances are, every one of us knows someone who has been affected by breast cancer,” said a representative of Fullington Trailways. “As Pennsylvania-based companies serving these same communities every day, we are honored to work together to remove barriers and help survivors and their families be part of this incredibly meaningful event.”
By donating buses and drivers, these companies are helping ensure that transportation is one less concern for families who have already faced so much. Their collaboration demonstrates the strength of Pennsylvania’s motorcoach and bus industry and its commitment to giving back.
On February 15, as buses arrive filled with survivors, families, and supporters dressed in pink, they will represent more than transportation—they will symbolize unity, resilience, and hope across the Commonwealth.
