Maritz Global Events is the only official housing provider for ABA Marketplace 2026

Please be aware that Maritz Global Events is the only official housing provider for ABA Marketplace 2026. Any other company is not authorized by ABA.

Improper solicitations from outside organizations are unfortunately common. While they may advertise lower rates, these offers can be misleading — reservations made through unaffiliated providers may:

  • Not be legitimate or secure
  • Not actually have the rooms to sell
  • Include unreasonable cancellation or change penalties
  • Or in some cases, be completely non-refundable

To ensure your reservation is safe and protected, we strongly encourage booking exclusively through Maritz Global Events.

Invitation: ABA Open Conference Call on Annual State Inspection Program Rulemaking, Help ABA Develop

Share

Dear Motorcoach Industry Leaders and Partners in Motorcoach Safety,

This note is an invitation to join us on a open conference call to assist ABA in understanding the impact of an advanced notice of proposed rulemaking regarding the creation of a mandatory annual state inspection program for commercial motor vehicles of passengers on the motorcoach industry.

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has asked that as an industry, we consider a number of questions related to the creation of this program. ABA needs your help in providing us with some direction as to what we should seek to achieve with this rule on behalf of the bus industry.

To access the call please dial: (877) 320-2871 [US & Canada Toll Free] or (408) 337-0084 [International Toll]

Passcode: 5387229507, #

To learn more about the information that FMCSA is seeking, please visit – https://www.federalregister.gov/articles/2016/04/27/2016-09846/state-inspection-programs-for-passenger-carrier-vehicles.

We need your input! As many of you may recall, FMCSA convened a number of listening sessions on this issue a couple of years ago, including one at Marketplace in St. Louis. The responses that we got at that time were varied, and now it is time to start to build some concensus as your industry spokesman.

All ABA members are also encouraged to file individual comments.

Comments are due June 27, 2016.
