GO Riteway Strengthens Midwest Footprint with New Fort Wayne Regional Hub

New terminal positions company for growth in northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio

GO Riteway Transportation Group is expanding its Midwest presence with the opening of a new regional terminal in Fort Wayne, Indiana, a move designed to strengthen the company’s commercial transportation services across Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio.

The new terminal marks GO Riteway’s latest growth step in the region and builds on the company’s 2019 acquisition of Cardinal Bus, which established its presence in Indiana and Michigan. By adding a Fort Wayne hub, the company is bringing more of its fleet and service capabilities closer to business, education, healthcare, and community clients in a fast-growing market.

With modern motorcoaches and shuttle vehicles now based locally, GO Riteway says the new operation will improve response times, increase service availability, and allow the company to better tailor transportation solutions for employers, schools, colleges, hospitals, and event partners throughout the region.

Wendy Bast, co-chair of GO Riteway, said the investment reflects both the growth of the Fort Wayne area and the increasing need for dependable transportation infrastructure.

“Fort Wayne and the surrounding region are experiencing significant growth, and reliable transportation is a core part of supporting that momentum,” Bast said. “This new terminal allows us to bring our standard of safe, dependable, and customer-focused service to more partners across Indiana and Ohio.”

The company is positioning the Fort Wayne operation as a strategic commercial hub capable of serving a broad mix of transportation needs. Those services include employee and workforce shuttle programs for major employers, manufacturing sites, logistics hubs, and construction projects; corporate and executive transportation; K-12, college, and university transportation; athletic and group travel; healthcare and senior mobility service; and shuttle operations for hospitality, retail, and gaming clients.

Steve Fazlovic, GO Riteway’s chief operations officer, said the Fort Wayne location aligns well with the company’s service model and regional ambitions.

“Establishing a strategic hub in Fort Wayne positions GO Riteway to better support the region’s business community, schools, and major employers with the high-quality transportation services we’re known for,” Fazlovic said.

In addition to expanding customer service capacity, the new terminal is expected to create local driving, dispatch, and operations roles, adding a workforce and economic development dimension to the company’s regional investment.

GO Riteway’s Fort Wayne fleet will include motorcoaches, shuttle buses, executive vans, sedans, and ADA-accessible options, giving the company flexibility to serve both large-scale and specialized client needs.

The expansion also reinforces GO Riteway’s broader Midwest growth strategy. Founded in 1957, the company has grown from a four-bus family business into a fourth-generation transportation provider operating more than 1,500 vehicles and employing over 1,800 team members across more than 30 locations in Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, and Indiana.

For Fort Wayne and the surrounding region, the new terminal signals increased access to locally based transportation capacity at a time when employers, institutions, and event organizers are placing greater value on reliability, scalability, and regional service coverage.

For GO Riteway, it is another step in a long-term expansion strategy centered on bringing commercial transportation solutions closer to the communities and clients they serve.
