COVID-19 Puts Brakes on Motorcoach Industry

But motorcoach travel is second only to the U.S airline industry, according to the American Bus Association, providing nearly 600 million passenger trips annually and made up of more than 3,000 mostly small, family owned companies.

ABA said nearly 100,000 employees are facing layoffs with the current crisis and estimates the motorcoach industry will lose nearly $8 billion in the next five months, typically the busiest travel season.
