Maritz Global Events is the only official housing provider for ABA Marketplace 2026

Please be aware that Maritz Global Events is the only official housing provider for ABA Marketplace 2026. Any other company is not authorized by ABA.

Improper solicitations from outside organizations are unfortunately common. While they may advertise lower rates, these offers can be misleading — reservations made through unaffiliated providers may:

  • Not be legitimate or secure
  • Not actually have the rooms to sell
  • Include unreasonable cancellation or change penalties
  • Or in some cases, be completely non-refundable

To ensure your reservation is safe and protected, we strongly encourage booking exclusively through Maritz Global Events.

Driving Force Council Launches Workforce Development Survey to Map Industry Career Paths

Member insights will shape a new guide designed to inspire future industry professionals

The Driving Force Council of the American Bus Association has launched a new Workforce Development Survey to gather member insights and chart the many career paths within the motorcoach, group travel, and tourism industries. The survey is open now through October 31.

As part of its ongoing workforce initiatives, the Council is developing the Driving Force Guide to Workforce Development. This new resource will highlight who we are as an industry and the diverse opportunities available across all sectors, including bus operations, tour planning, attractions, hotels, and restaurants.

“The goal of this project is to show the real, human side of what makes our industry thrive,” said Erin Sullivan, Chair of the Driving Force Council. “By sharing your story and insights, you’re helping us illustrate the wide variety of career paths that exist — and helping newcomers see themselves in this industry.”

Survey respondents will have the opportunity to be featured in upcoming social media and email spotlights, showcasing the people behind the industry’s success.

Sullivan emphasized that the survey’s results will guide the Council’s broader efforts to strengthen workforce development strategies across ABA’s membership. “We want to make sure our work directly responds to the needs of our members,” she added.

Members are encouraged to complete the survey today and share it with colleagues to ensure their experiences are represented.
