DATTCO, Inc. is proud to announce that Rudy Supina, Safety Director, has been honored with the Greater Northeast Motorcoach Association’s Motorcoach Professional Award. This recognition highlights Rudy’s unwavering commitment to safety, compliance, and industry leadership throughout his distinguished career.

With 14 years at DATTCO, Rudy Supina has played a pivotal role in developing driver training and compliance programs, serving as Trainer, Safety Coordinator, and now Director. His expertise is further rooted in nearly 30 years of law enforcement experience with the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), where he specialized in commercial vehicle oversight and compliance.

While at DMV, Rudy was instrumental in steering the Connecticut Motor Carrier Safety Assistance Program and contributed to the development of the Commercial Vehicle Information Systems (CVISN) and Performance and Registration Information Systems Management (PRISM). His dedication to safety has been evident throughout his career, and he has maintained an active presence in the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) for over 25 years. Rudy’s leadership has been recognized through committee chair appointments representing state agencies, and he now serves as a voting member of CVSA’s passenger carrier committee, advocating for the motorcoach industry.

Rudy’s well-seasoned experience bridges enforcement and carrier positions, enabling him to present insightful perspectives for CVSA consideration. His commitment and expertise have shaped key policies and best practices, advancing commercial vehicle safety standards nationwide. At DATTCO, Rudy oversees all driver training and compliance initiatives, including hours-of-service monitoring, pre- and post-trip modernization, and the digitalization of driver qualification files. His contributions consistently demonstrate excellence and professionalism, reinforcing DATTCO’s dedication to safety and operational efficiency.
