American Bus Association Selects CS-Effect for Centennial Celebration PR
The Association will celebrate the history of the motorcoach and charter bus, group travel, and tourism industries through multiple layers of storytelling.
The American Bus Association (ABA), a leading voice in North America’s motorcoach, charter bus, group travel, and tourism industries, has selected Chicago-based CS-Effect as its public relations agency to lead the communications strategy for its upcoming Centennial Celebration in 2026. With a strong record of managing national campaigns for major associations, CS-Effect will partner with ABA starting January 2025 to prepare for this milestone event.
“The 100th Anniversary of ABA is a tremendous achievement and milestone that only a small fraction of organizations ever experience,” said Fred Ferguson, President and CEO of the American Bus Association. “We are excited to collaborate with CS-Effect to design and execute a communications campaign that celebrates our mission and members while elevating the vital role motorcoach and charter bus travel plays in connecting people with places across the country.”
CS-Effect, a certified women-owned agency, has a long history of developing marketing communications strategies for associations, including the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scouts, Moose International’s Centennial Celebration, and the American Brain Tumor’s 50th anniversary, among others.
Initial plans are underway and include celebrating the history of the motorcoach and charter bus, group travel, and tourism industries through storytelling via digital content, large-scale regional events, including a Centennial motorcoach tour, and more. High-profile media coverage will bring attention to the industry’s vast contributions to tourism and travel.
“We are honored to partner with the ABA and bring its Centennial vision to life,” said Candice Warltier, CEO of CS-Effect. “We look forward to sharing stories about the evolution of the bus industry, its exciting future, and the personal experiences of the people who choose motorcoaches for travel.”
