American Bus Association announces Marketplace conferences through 2033

Since 1979, the American Bus Association’s (ABA) Marketplace has been a driving force in the motorcoach, charter bus, group travel, and tourism industries. As the premier business event for industry professionals, Marketplace fosters critical connections and delivers a substantial economic impact to host cities.
Building on the success of Marketplace 2025 in Philadelphia—which generated nearly $5 million for local businesses and filled 7,000 hotel room nights for 3,000 attendees—ABA has unveiled details for its next eight Marketplace events, beginning in 2026. Each city selected will benefit from the influx of attendees while positioning itself as a prime destination for future group travel and tourism.
“ABA’s Marketplace is one of the most transformative experiences in the motorcoach and group travel industry. In just four days, group tour operators, manufacturers, bus operators, and tourism companies can accomplish a year’s worth of sales meetings,” said Fred Ferguson, President and CEO of the American Bus Association. “Marketplace 2026 will be especially significant as ABA prepares to celebrate 100 years of uniting operators, suppliers, and the group tour and travel industry.”

“Our industry is very tight-knit, so Marketplace is a rare opportunity for our members from across the country to reconnect,” said Vicki Osman, CTIS Senior Vice President, Meetings, Events & Education. “There are many opportunities for attendees to network and form new business partnerships, whether they participate in speed-dating for business, decide to walk around the exhibit floor or attend one of over 50 expert-led education seminars.”
Each Marketplace host city will have the chance to showcase their vibrant markets and provide large-scale exposure for their local motorcoach operators, manufacturers, tour companies, tourism bureaus, and destination venues.
“As a gateway to the historic American West and the great outdoors, Reno Tahoe is the perfect destination for group travel,” said RSCVA President and CEO Mike Larragueta. “We are thrilled to welcome ABA Marketplace to Northern Nevada for the first time ever, and we cannot wait to roll out the red carpet for the American Bus Association’s 100th Anniversary celebration.”
