Please be aware that Maritz Global Events is the only official housing provider for ABA Marketplace 2026. Any other company is not authorized by ABA.

Improper solicitations from outside organizations are unfortunately common. While they may advertise lower rates, these offers can be misleading — reservations made through unaffiliated providers may:

  • Not be legitimate or secure
  • Not actually have the rooms to sell
  • Include unreasonable cancellation or change penalties
  • Or in some cases, be completely non-refundable

To ensure your reservation is safe and protected, we strongly encourage booking exclusively through Maritz Global Events.

Express Way: Last Year’s Lessons Lead to Long-Term Success

How ABC Companies is helping you get there

Share

As 2025 comes to a close, the lessons of the past year point toward the future direction of the motorcoach industry. From longtime customers to new partnerships, the message has been clear: reliability is no longer just about vehicles. It’s about being ready, staying responsive, and building systems that support long-term resilience.

This year, operators shared the challenges they are facing: technician shortages, delayed parts, aging infrastructure, and rising costs. At ABC Companies, we responded by expanding our mobile service network, improving predictive parts forecasting, and investing in tools like telematics and real-time maintenance tracking. These were not just product enhancements; they were built to directly address the issues slowing operators down.

ABC Companies’ Mobile Service provides on-location service, wherever and whenever you need them.

ABC is innovating by investing in tools like telematics and real-time maintenance tracking.

“Change is accelerating across every part of our industry,” says Roman Cornell, CEO of ABC Companies (left).

Our privately held structure allows us to focus on long-term value instead of short-term performance. That is why we continue investing in technician training, regional service infrastructure, and systems that identify issues early, before vehicles are taken off the road. Our in-person and online training programs provide accessible upskilling for alternative propulsion technologies.

As the industry evolves, our customers are adapting, too. Public-private partnerships are growing. Demand for low emissions and accessible transit continues to rise. Many operators are rethinking what success looks like. It’s no longer just about having the right equipment; it’s about having the support and systems in place to adapt.

Our service programs reflect this shift. They integrate programmed maintenance planning, lifecycle support, and system monitoring into strategies tailored to each operation. We do not believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. We believe in building for what each fleet truly needs.

Looking to 2026, we are focused on areas that have the greatest impact on performance: technician support, service coordination, and stronger forecasting. We also continue working with the American Bus Association to support advocacy efforts that reflect the real-world needs of fleet operators.

The ABA Foundation continues to highlight the vital role motorcoaches play in American transportation. As the most fuel-efficient mode of travel per passenger mile, our industry contributes to both economic and environmental sustainability. At ABC, we aim to support that impact, not just by keeping buses moving, but by helping operators stay ready and resilient.

The conversations we have had this year with operators, technicians, and public agencies have shown that change is accelerating across every part of our industry. Whether it is adopting cleaner propulsion systems or investing in smarter fleet technologies, the pace of evolution is real. Those who invest early and plan with intention are already seeing the benefits. Our job is to help more of them get there.

ABC Companies is committed to moving the motorcoach industry forward.

See them in action

More than 50 years ago, my grandfather built ABC by walking into shops and listening to the people who kept fleets running. That commitment hasn’t changed. Today, our responsibility is to keep listening, keep building, and stand alongside operators as they navigate what’s next. We’re here to help them adapt, evolve, and move forward with confidence.
