Maritz Global Events is the only official housing provider for ABA Marketplace 2026

Please be aware that Maritz Global Events is the only official housing provider for ABA Marketplace 2026. Any other company is not authorized by ABA.

Improper solicitations from outside organizations are unfortunately common. While they may advertise lower rates, these offers can be misleading — reservations made through unaffiliated providers may:

  • Not be legitimate or secure
  • Not actually have the rooms to sell
  • Include unreasonable cancellation or change penalties
  • Or in some cases, be completely non-refundable

To ensure your reservation is safe and protected, we strongly encourage booking exclusively through Maritz Global Events.

ABA’s Marketplace Co-Chairs Selected

Each year ABA selects a Marketplace Chair to assist in hosting the annual meeting and marketplace. This year marks a landmark anniversary for ABA, as it celebrates its 100th birthday. As ABA reflects on its past and all the accomplishments it has achieved, it is also thrilled about what the future holds.

Using this as inspiration for their selection of the Marketplace Chair, they decided to have a duo that represented the success leading up to this year and the bright future shining ahead. Kim Grzywacz and Danielle Wilkinson could not embody this any more perfectly. This mother-daughter duo represents their family-owned bus company, CIT Signature Transportation, based in Iowa. Both Kim & Danielle have been integral parts of the Women in Buses council; Kim served as Membership Chair, Chair, and Past Chair, from 2015-2021 (fun fact, she was the first inaugural WIB Social in 2013 at her first ABA in Charlotte), and Danielle is currently serving on the WIB Marketing Committee.

Having such representation as our Co-Chairs for Marketplace this year is truly exciting, and we, as a council, could not be prouder of this duo. Please join us in congratulating Kim & Danielle!

WIB Book Club

August wrapped up with the second WIB Book Club meeting of the year. The summer’s book selection, The Many Lives of Mama Love, happened to be the top-rated book we’ve read to date, yielding a solid 4.33 STARS from our club. August’s meeting was also our most attended meeting to date! If you’re looking for a great motivational read, absolutely pick up this memoir by Lara Love Hardin. If you’re looking for a low-key book club that is reading some fantastic books, join us on November 13, 2:00 p.m. ET.

The club is excited to announce its fall read, The One Hundred Years of Lenni and Margot by Marianne Cronin. The club returns to fiction with this selection. It’s a story of an unlikely friendship between a 17-year-old terminal patient, Lenni, and an 83-year-old Margot.  Ironically, this story may even be an EXCELLENT lead-in for WIB Day! Stay tuned!
