Starr’s Solo Traveler Community Continues to Grow with Exciting New Events and Destinations
Celebrating the company's Solo Traveler Community

Starr Bus Charter and Tours is proud to celebrate the continued growth of its Solo Traveler Community—bringing together independent travelers who want to explore the world in the company of others.
What began as a small group of curious travelers has grown into a welcoming community of over 1,200 solo travelers. Starr’s full lineup of escorted day and multi-day trips is designed for those who want to explore with others, make new connections, and travel safely in good company. Building on this success, Starr now offers specially curated experiences just for solo travelers—and in 2025, the company is deepening its commitment with exciting new tours and engaging in-person events.

NEW FOR 2025: “Solo Traveler Experience: Richmond, VA – Young at Heart”
This summer, Starr is thrilled to introduce a brand-new solo traveler experience to Richmond, Virginia, happening July 30–August 1, 2025. This trip combines fun, culture, creativity, and many opportunities to connect. Guests will enjoy two nights at the brand-new Drury Plaza Hotel in downtown Richmond. Highlights of the trip include a hands-on candle-making workshop, a guided city tour with Bingo on the bus, and a private performance at the historic Byrd Theatre, where the mighty Wurlitzer organ will take center stage.
