MCI Expands Southern California Service with New Torrance Facility

Motor Coach Industries (MCI), a subsidiary of NFI Group Inc., has expanded its service capabilities in Southern California with the opening of a new state-of-the-art facility in Torrance, California. The move strengthens MCI’s factory-level support for motorcoach operators across one of the country’s busiest transportation corridors.
To mark the launch, MCI hosted a ribbon cutting and open house event on May 1, welcoming customers, local officials, and partners.
“This new location expands our reach and enhances support for customers in one of the nation’s most active transportation corridors,” said Michael Donner, Director, MCI Service Centers. “With advanced capabilities and a strong local team, we’re delivering the expert service our customers rely on.”
Led by Service Center Manager Tony Molina, the 35,000-square-foot facility offers comprehensive services, including 12 service bays, a high-voltage repair station, charging infrastructure, body and paint services, and a dedicated lounge for drivers. Factory-trained technicians use OEM diagnostics to handle everything from general repairs to electric vehicle maintenance and fire restoration.

Conveniently located at 20700 Denker Ave, Unit A, the Torrance center services all NFI brands—MCI, New Flyer, ARBOC, and Alexander Dennis—and is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. PT.
The new site is part of MCI’s expanding network of seven full-service centers across North America, all backed by MCI’s Reliadrive commitment, offering diagnostics, accurate estimates, and a six-month parts and labor warranty. Additional support includes in-field service, 24/7 roadside assistance, and North America’s largest bus and motorcoach parts inventory via NFI Parts™.
From routine maintenance to major refurbishments, MCI’s Torrance center ensures greater uptime and peace of mind for Southern California fleets. Learn more at www.mcicoach.com/parts-support/service-centers.
