Indiana travelers will soon have a new and affordable transportation option as GOGO Charters launches daily scheduled motorcoach service connecting key Midwest cities. Starting this summer, the Texas-based charter bus company will offer low-cost rides between Indianapolis, Chicago, Detroit, and other major destinations.

This expansion is part of GOGO Charters’ Midwest Charter Network, a growing system designed to provide travelers with an alternative to flights, Amtrak, and Greyhound. The network will initially connect 15 cities, with routes extending from Indiana to Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

Affordable and Convenient Travel

One of the biggest highlights of the new service is affordability. Ticket prices will start as low as $10, though final costs will depend on distance and seat availability. Travelers can book up to 12 tickets at a time, making it a practical option for families, groups, and business travelers alike.

Rather than investing in traditional bus terminals, GOGO Charters is partnering with hotels to serve as pick-up and drop-off points. Indianapolis riders will board at Hotel Indy, while stops in Lafayette and Chicago will be at The Union Club Hotel at Purdue University and Renaissance Chicago Downtown, respectively. These locations are strategically chosen for their proximity to downtown areas and public transportation hubs.

Routes and Expansion Plans

The company’s new Indiana service includes several key routes:

  • Indianapolis to Chicago (via Lafayette)
  • Indianapolis to Columbus, Ohio (via Dayton)
  • South Bend to Detroit (via Ann Arbor)

Additionally, plans are in place to expand routes to Bloomington, Cincinnati, and Detroit, with a Fort Wayne stop expected later.

A Comfortable Ride

GOGO Charters also prioritizes passenger comfort. The company’s motorcoaches, all under six years old, feature reclining leather seats, complimentary WiFi, onboard restrooms, and entertainment screens. The ability to book and track buses through a mobile app will further enhance riders’ convenience.

With its blend of affordability, comfort, and accessibility, GOGO Charters’ expansion into Indiana and the Midwest is poised to reshape regional travel. Whether heading to a major city or a college town, passengers will soon have a new way to easily reach their destinations.
